Excellent detail and pose, Liz!
I find the brighter portion of the perch on the left keeps taking my eyes from the subject.
Oh, image looks a little dark overall.

Definite improvement with the repost Liz and it really looks best when you click on it to bring in the darker surround. Very nice image with fine detail.

well LIz you sort of ruined my comment line by reposting. A great improvement too.

My only comment is that to me the perch is almost part of the bird and should be in focus too. You have a bit of an octopus perch and one limb attracts the eye a bit by being out of focus.
