One from Costa Rica last week. I spent most of my time birding, but I did manage a few shots on my inaugural trip to the tropics.

The bird is well positioned and the perch and background are very nice. The bird being pale is not the easiest to get right. The image looks a tad contrasty.

I really like this image Dorian. I feel like if you shaved off a bit from the back of the image it would take away that bulky part of the perch and would improve the composition.
