I don't do it often (maybe 5x a year), but flash made this shot of this Pacific-slope-flycatcher nest possible. I found it in Huntington Beach, CA, nestled in a very dense part of a public park. It is built inside the trough of a large, concave Palmetto palm leaf. This was taken from about 30 feet away looking lengthwise into the trough of the cradling leaf.
