From Thermal CA last week, after a deluge from a rare thunderstorm, for me anyway, I was fortunate to find a small flock of these beautiful birds foraging at this pool of water early in the morning.  Thanks for looking.

1DX, 600mm + 1.4X, ISO800, 1/5000 @ f5.6.

These are beautiful little birds! I saw them for the first time ever on Friday at Bosque del Apache. I love the colors and form of them and you got a nice pose here.
