A species that we North Americans tend to forget about. I was up on Mt Doug the other evening searching for and photographing Townsend's Solitaires and found the Robins singing at the tops of the fresh Garry Oaks. I love waking up every morning at this time of year to the Robin's song.

The word 'Classic' was used by another viewer. That sums up this excellent portrait.

These guys are really beautiful but so common we overlook them. Excellent shot Tim, great perch and bg, maybe a little more room up top.

Such a beautiful capture, Tim. The soft light and background are excellent, and the perch put it over the top. Very well done!
