yellowlegs interacting

shot at the Celery Felds near Fruitville FL for the first time a few days ago and captured this extremely animated behavior I've never witnessed before.  Many pairs of these yellowlegs would react violently

What's going on??

1DM4, 500, 1.4TC, ISO, 1000, f11, 1/3200, tripod, natural light
