Ah, 44 mm. The sweet spot for bird photography -- it's why I sold my Canon 50 mm f/1.8, too long!

I really like this, Alan. I can't think of anything I would do to improve the image; it's a total success in my book.

Awesome image Alan. Only thing for me is the gorgeous scenery greatly overshadows the bird :)

In many ways I like wildlife in the habitat shots like this better than close-up shots. A wonderful story telling image too.
