Insane light, eye contact and wing position. I would like to see this with a horizontal crop.

Beautiful light and head turn. I love the soft pink and gold hues and excellent timing - the pose is fantastic. I might try to tone down the dark spots in the background (or you could clone them out altogether if you aren't opposed to that kind of manipulation). What does the original frame look like? I'm not in love with the almost square crop, so curious where else there might be room to try a different composition. Overall great work!

What a pose you captured, Peter!
Was this late afternoon light? Strange color as is.

Please include some shooting data if you've it!

Beautiful light and pose, great eye contact! I know you want to have at the bottom of the frame the beautiful light on the snow that enhance the image, however I find the Owl a little bit high, probably you should try a more rectangular frame.
Great job Peter!
