An nice inflight capture, Dave!
I like the blurred wing but this could be hit or miss business given the relatively low ss used.
With 7D you're safe to dial up the ISO setting to say, 400 and still keep the image noise checked.
Composition wise perhaps you want a little more room behind the bird instead in this case.

Hi David

i would prefer the wings sharp and would use a much faster shutter speed. The background tone is nice but I would push the bird further to the right.
