 Plum-throated Cotinga Cotinga maynana Canopy Tower, Ecuadorian Amazon
Canon 7DM2 | Canon 500mm f/4 IS II with 1.4x Teleconverter | 1/200th | f/8 | ISO 250 Hi everyone, Here's a real stunner from the Amazon: a male Plum-throated Cotinga. I'd seen these guys a few times in both Ecuador and Peru, but only from a great distance. It was a real treat when this fine specimen landed in a photogenic spot next to the canopy tower. I was fortunate enough to be in the company of some very generous participants who pestered me until I put my memory card in one of their cameras to snap a few frames of this beauty! Best of luck, |
