I took this photograph as the sun was about to hit the horizon one beautiful Florida morning. This tricolored heron found a lovely spot to start his day.

Nice first post and welcome aboard NSN!
Would boost the contrast slightly and open up the dark areas.

Please include some shooting data for members giving image critique.

Thank you so much KK. I appreciate your time. I have changed the contrast on this image several times.. can't seem to get it just right. I will try again! So because I'm new here.. Does one repost the edit? 
I will include shooting data next time.
