This species is always a pleasure to photograph. Last spring i had the fortune of finding two nesting pairs in the interior of British Columbia. I have grown so accustom to shooting these guys in the dead of winter in snowy settings, so it was a real treat to get them in their summer environment. This shot was taken just after the sun went down.

Really a gorgeous image. Because the BG is almost perfect I might be tempted to remove the small blob on the lower right as it pulls the eye just a tad.

Awesome image. I agree with Mike that deleting the light colored blob in the lower right would put this over the top.
