This Mandarin Duck is one of my favorites bird.
Not common in our country but somehow arrived and I love looking on his colors.

Taken in Israel January 2015
iso 640 , f/4 , 1/8000 , 500mm
Canon 1Dx and 500mm f/4 Canon lens.

Well done, a difficult species to capture effectively with exposure being so dramatic with the birds colourization!
