Many-banded Aracari
Pteroglossus pluricinctus
Amazon Rainforest, Ecuador
Canon 7DM2 | Canon 600mm f/4 IS II with 1.4x Teleconverter | 1/160th | f/5.6 | ISO 800
I recently photographed this beauty from a canopy tower, deep in the Ecuadorian Amazon. Gotta love Toucans!

Best of luck,

Nice work Jess! Looks like the 7DM2 is capable of producing some decent results. I was a little bummed out when they released it because I was hoping for better ISO results after waiting 5 years! What's your opinion of image quality verses your 5DM3?

Thanks Mike! It's definitely a big upgrade from it's predecessor. However, I don't think it will ever replace my 5DM3 as my main camera body. The cropped sensor (although nice to have t times for the extra reach) just can't touch the full frame in terms of ISO performance, colour and dynamic range.

Excellent shot Jess, clear, sharp and brings attention straight to the bird's main feature, that giant bill.
