Great Gray Owl stare

The majestic great gray owl's icy stare.  One of a few that are around this winter.  Taken with the 7D MK2, 500 f4 II on Gitzo tripod and remote release.  Thanks for looking.

Thanks all. I cannot talk about the great gray owls for now but if you are in Ottawa, most people are photographing the two snowy owls along Akins Road and Eagleson road including the adjoining roads lsuch as Rushmore. An adult male snowy owl at that location is very popular. Also a visit to Parc Omega about a 40 minute drive over in the Quebec side is well worth it. They have bisons and other wildlife including a few species of wolves including Timber wolf. It is a preserve and photo ops can be great especially of the wolves. That is where many people who live in Ottawa go get their great wolf shots.
