Up until recently this was probably the hardest endemic bird to get a glimpse of in Cuba. Then a man named Olando started feeding them rice...

Nice shot Glenn, very handsome looking bird. Seems like there are quite a few birds in the Americas you can see relatively easily as someone started feeding them.

great bird to get. I love the colors in the face. I bet you would've liked to have less plants in front of the wing,too, so I won't comment on that ;)

That must be one of the best looking Doves on earth
