I am still having fun shooting these guys - went out again this morning in full camo and while taking pictures of the Nelson's and Seaside Sparrows a Clapper Rail walked under my tripod with me kneeling behind it. Nice day again with a touch more wind and warmer - but sparrows still there along with Marsh Wrens and the ever present noisy Clappers. May post a Seaside one day but they are tough to get up high enough to have good background

Lovely image Mike.  I'd be inclined to remove that single blade of grass coming straight out of the bird's forehead...............but that's just me.

Thanks - Brian - I shortened the one that is right under his bill - but it actually went in front of bill - never seriously considered removing that one but probably not bad idea - really simple in my work flow

Wonderful image, Mike!! I love the setting and perch. Agree with Brian re: blade of grass but that's minor, IMO.

No - but these birds are only here in winter- breed up in Canada - most winter along east coast and Gulf Coast - I live about 12 miles from coast in Texas
