Gorgeted Sunangel Heliangelus strophianus

Another bird from Bellavista, the Gorgeted Sunangel was a regular in small numbers at the feeders. Bellavista does not allow use of flash at the feeders, so lighting angle was critical and as per usual light was in fairly short supply. The image was surprisingly noise free given the ISO.

Canon 1DMkIV + 500mm f4L IS. 1/100 @ f7.1 ISO3200

I like it as is! I believe that flash even a small amount would have hurt this one. Love the natural light in this one and the nice colours on his gorget.
