This Snowy owl pic is one from last year but they are now being reported in the general area.  Looks like this weekend will be a good time to start scouting the neighbourhood.

Rick you talking about killing! now YOU are killing me with this fantastic image! lovely owl, perhaps the most beautiful from North America. Now my only complaint is: why the tiny image? this one deserved to be posted large! :)

Thanks Juan Carlos.  I agree, as this image is much better viewed large but as a "free" member I am restricted to posting images to 800pixels and 250KB.  

Considering how inexpensive memory is today NatureScapes might want to revisit this policy but that discussion is for a different thread.
