 Grass Green Tanager

Hi everyone, Here's another from my recent travels in Peru with Glenn Bartley. This species has been high on my most wanted list for quite awhile now. With such a unique colour palette, these guys jumped out at me the first time I flipped through a Peru field guide. I was quite pleased with this frame as shooting these high elevation birds isn't always an easy task. On this particular morning, our workshop participants' persistence was rewarded with great opportunities with this species and a handful of other amazing Tanagers. Best wishes, |
