Eastern Screech Owl in the rain

Not easy seeing these owls in the dark thru a FZ200 view-finder so I had no idea if the owl was looking straight at me or not.  Well, I could tell by the shape of the head and whether the two tufts were pointed at me or not.  Thanks for looking.

I like the pose and the droplets(?) on the owl. Great night picture, "shooting in the dark". :)

Thanks Cynthia.  Yes, those are rain drops.  I know that ideally the owl would be looking at the camera but this owl had a mind of its own :-)  If I was using a DSLR on a tripod I would wait longer.  A lot of deciduous trees around so hoping to photograph the owl when the colours change.
