Thanks Cindy. I thought he looked like he was concentrating as well. In the next frame he raised his tail and let loose. Timing is everything.

This is a real beauty. Love the low angle and the faint dried vegetation in the B.G. He must have been sitting up on a ridge. These guys are so skittish around my neck of the woods.

Great image, David. It is rare to find them on the ground. After they poop they usually take off. Did you get the take off shot?

Karl, I did get the take-off shot, but unfortunately his head was turned slightly away.
