Found this friendly fellow foraging in my yard- He was not too skittish, so I got fairly close. Still, the crop is about 1/2.

Thank you!  They are quite common, nesting and singing in our Vermont woods, but more often heard than seen. Perhaps this youngster is on his way to you for the winter. :)
