This past weekend I made a trip out to Bellevue Beach, NL to photograph some shorebirds. This Semipalamted Plover stole the show by providing some amazing photo ops. I'm still not sure what created the color in the BG but I love it

Nikon D7100, 500mmF4 plus Tele1.4x, ISO400, F8, 1/1000s, 700mm

Cool that you caught one with such dark markings this time of the year. Like the low angle, but would prefer if the oof sand on the left wasn't interfering with the horizon. Great detail none the less and a beautiful B.G.
