This is the result of an earlier picture I showed of the loon on the nest, there were two eggs but only one chick survived. The chick is two days old and they were trying to feed it a cray fish which it failed to eat so they ate it

Two days later on another workshop it was having no trouble eating things this size, they grow quick!!!

Nice family image. Good DOF to get them all sharp.

You cannot save time, you can only spend it wisely, or perhaps, freeze a moment of it forever in a photograph

Nice behavior shot. A bit too much dead space at the bottom of the frame, would crop some from bottom right.

Nice shot of 2 loons and there young. Crayfish is a nice bonus.

I like the composition Steve, something different from all the tight cropped loon images. Behavior and environment was your intention and you presented this really well.
