This was taken back on April 22 in Montana, on a quiet stretch of highway 212 - north of Broadus. We make a drive annually to Minnesota on this route, and have seen an active nest right around this particular stretch of road almost every year. We usually drive this road in mid-April, and this was the first time we've seen chicks this time of year there.

Love the adult and owlet together. Nice feel to the image. Kind of wish the BG did not have the vertical branches, but that is a minor thing for sure.
You cannot save time, you can only spend it wisely, or perhaps, freeze a moment of it forever in a photograph
