Found this Goosander (Common Merganser) in the Nymphenburg Park in Munich. They are quite common there but never had one catching at least 5 fish in front of me within less than 1 hour.
Very cooperative fellow :-)
A bit dark already but thanks to modern sensor technology we can now take this kind of shots.
I took hundreds of shots but this is one of my favorites.
I darkend the rock in the background locally with the adjustment brush in LR 5.6.
Also cropped a bit at the top and bottom.

EOS 1DX, EF 4/600L IS II, EF 1.4x III, tripod
ISO 1250, 1/500s, f5.6.

Great low angle, details and feeding behavior. I also like the droplets.

Great low angle, eye contact, sharpness, action and colors. A little tight on the right. Dave

Great catch for both of you, Markus!
I like the pano treatment too.

Marcus,

It,s not everyday's that you can have this beautiful specie to cooporate and give you that beautiful fish in bonus!

A beautiful behavior shot taken with a good low angle!
