Hi,

Here's a juvenile cooper's hawk taken recently in an urban park in Québec city. Light wass extremely poorand beautiful bg's were very hard to find... Here, he was looking for his breakfast (squirrel's) on the ground...

Very nice raptor, love the pose and eye contact. If mine, I would boost exposure a tad.

Fantastic. Great light on the bird. Goes very well with the dark background. I like the look on the hawks face.
Great placement of the bird in the frame.

Pierre

That is a pretty nice portrait of the Cooper's Hawk under the conditions you describe. Image has atmosphere.

Good find and a nice shot, Pierre!
You did well with the less than ideal conditions.

I love Coopers hawks and this is a great image. I might try to warm it up a tad if it were mine but like it as presented here.
