Greater and lesser yellowlegs in morning light

I don't shoot a lot of habitat images but this scene caught my eye. First it is a great comparison of the greater  vs. lesser yellowlegs - a very noticeable difference in size. Secondly the colors in the water were very attractive and thirdly the bright morning sun made the birds pop out against the background.

Canon 1D4, 500mm f4L IS II + 1.4x III, ISO 200, f 5.6, 1/1000 sec, manual exposure, tripod

Very effective image, Bob. The colors are really nice, and it has a good flow to it.

Neat to have both species in one frame, I also like the inclusion of the habitat.

Nice habitat and light.....might be tempted to trim a bit of the oof off the bottom but that's just personal.  Nice.
