I stumbled upon a family unit of Great Gray owls in the Kamloops area this summer. What a great surprise. I first spotted one owl along the roadway and then heard a second hooting from in the woods. The male was hunting the fields and delivering food to mama, who would then divide the food as she seemed fit. An amazing thing to watch.

Neat setting and owl. Well done.

Really nice shot. Like the soft light and details here. The owlet already has that "bored owl" expression.

Mike, must have been a big thrill to find and witness, amazing image of this chick, what eyes and such big feet.  Great job getting a clean shot of youngster and I really like the rugged natural setting here.
