Karl, I too like that ruffled fluffy pose, am enjoying all those luxurious feather layers.  Nice low angle and neat the way the red eye ring plays off the green BG.

A great killdeer shot IMO. Nice low angle and habitat. Fluffed is always good. Good detail on the bird.
