Snapped this shot before sunrise. (Stellers's Sea Eagles at Hakkaido, Japan)

Canon7d/400mm/1/500, 5.6, iso 800/original file quite a bit darker

Really cool incoming shot. I like the positioning of the two birds.
Thanks for looking,

Lovely shot --- the pastel sky is terrific, though there seems to be some noise. Awesome eagles!

Awesome shot! Because the original file was quite a bit darker there was likely lots of noise, so brightening, noise removal and saturating has caused the pink sky to pixelate.

Love the background, Alfred! The pinks in the sky really set off the eagles nicely! Super capture!

Alfred, stunner image with beautiful moody light and their poses, ha! - both comical and so serious at the same time.  The POV is especially unique, as if you were somewhere up high, and they came directly at you to investigate.

Just a great shot...you may want to look at DXO 9...its noise reduction is the best, saved many of my shots.

Alfred

Nice action shot in the pre-dawn light. I get cold just looking at it.
