Vesper Sparrow

I was out in Western MN this past weekend and there were a number of new migrants that showed up.  The most prevalent was Vesper Sparrow which were singing from all the fields in the area.

Canon 7D, Canon 300mm f/2.8, Canon 2X, ISO 160, 1/250 @ f/7.1, FF - 1 2/3.

great catch on this species..I see details I never seen, like the red patch on the wing..

Nice to see the spring migrants showing up. I saw greater yellowlegs today.
