Royal Tern Bathing

Here's one from the Texas coast last week. I was photographing some avocets and this tern came in and bathed close enough to get some nice images. I cropped to a pano because I didn't like the diffused oof reflection. Taken laying on my stomach in the sand.

Great action shot at super low angle, Nate. I like the water splash around the bird.

Nate this is one of those common birds but you have gotten a not so common shot of it!
Really appreciate the fine details seen in the larger picture. The splash was captured in the right moment and the bird couldn't have give you a better head angle! Your choice of crop is the best IMHO.
