On my way to Texas to meet Alan for our annual songbird workshops.  Driving from my home in California via Colorado this year and had to try for this species.  Was thrilled to find this beauty still in full winter plumage up at Loveland Pass this morning.  Coming from sea level two days ago and then lugging my gear around at over 12,000 feet was not fun.........but well worth the effort.  1DX, 600 mm II

Beauty shot, Brian. Love the white on white and the raised foot. It was worth the work at high elevation.

Sweet shot of a cool bird! Great the way you managed to make a white bird stand out against a white BG!

Lovely bird, Brian. I wonder if you could play with the WB a little and try a cooler temp. The bird and snow look a bit too yellowish to me
