Captured on a small sandy island near Woy Woy, NSW a couple of years ago.
I was about to leave when I saw this group in full breeding plumage and the pinkish colours on the water. My 800mm was too long for the job but luckily I had the 70-200 f2.8 with the x1.4 ready. Flash was a must as there was hardly any light.

Canon 1D4, Canon 70-200 f2.8 plus 1.4 TC, 1/300, f6.3, iso 1600, flash, handheld.

This is a wonderful image Ofer! I can't get over how cartoon-ish these birds look, especially their eyes!
