Lovely catch! However, light wasn't great which didn't help this image.From my experience, there is nothing better for bird photography than early morning/late afternoon bright sun....(-:

Can't argue with that and it would apply to this image, but sometimes the sun reflecting off of the water and issues of harsh contrast can be a negative too
