Costa has beautiful honeycreepers and this one is captured nicely. Those "indigo" blues are tricky to expose, how did you meter this one?

Marc,

I metered based on the brightest highlight on top of the bird's head and filled in the shadows with a touch of flash. Everything was manual; exposure and flash.
