Hi everyone, last month I was leading tours in Ecuador and the Galapagos so I didn't have much time or fast net access for posting and commenting.  We are back home now.  I was happy to get my first good image of this species (Little Red Brocket Deer) at Guango Lodge in Ecuador as this deer strolled past during the day, we all took a break from the hummingbird flash photography to photograph this beautiful animal.   I had seen them before but never in decent light.  This species lives only in the Andes of Colombia, Peru and Ecuador and is considered vulnerable by the ICUN.

Excellent image. I like the eye contact and the pensive expression.

Excellent image, Nate. I like the rich dark color of the body and the nice turning the head toward you.

Looks a bit startled? Cute antelope of which I can't recall I've seen photos before, Nate.

Great photo of a shy animal. It is not easy to see them in the open. The colours and contrast are excelente.
