Aesculapian snake

Hi,
I found this snake while looking for flowers!
It's a non venomous species!

A nice find! How big was this one? I know they can grow up to six feet in length.

I like your perspective and good use of selective focus to bring out the head and eye detail. Nice one!

Good perspective and I like the way the snake's body is all "s" curves going on the diagonal through the frame. Very nice.

That's just under two feet, so it might be a lot bigger if you see it in a year or two! 8)
