In the fast fading evening of Tadoba, India, just a few minutes before he came out, we had heard the alarm call of Spotted Deer in the vicinity indicating the movement or presence of a predator. Could not blame this stag for being very cautious while crossing the road and making sure that we were not up to some mischief. He safely crossed the road and disappeared in the golden green grass. Only the breeze rippled the fronds.
