This photograph was taken a few years ago during winter on a high snow covered plateau in Lamar Valley at Yellowstone National Park.  I was particularly pleased with the pose.  Please click on the image to view the larger version with dark surrounds.  Thank you.

How these mountain dwellers manage to keep in such peak condition living the life they do is quite amazing. What a magnificent ram with beautiful conformation, and I agree - a perfect pose!

Great pose and beautiful ram. The snow terrain is a nice touch. viewing in a dark background really brings out the fine detail.
