Good details and an interesting concept for the image. To me this would work better with some cropped from the bottom and left. I know you intentionally cut off the eyes, but with so much space below the chin it sort of seems like an accident. With a tight crop like this I think it works better if the subject fills much more of the frame. My opinion and taste anyway! Lovely background and soft light.

Cindy makes a good point, and I agree. I also feel that with such an intimate close up it would be better with more dof to bring the upper jaw and nose into sharp detail as well as the lower jaw. Knowing your excellent work as I do by now Pralay, you may well have intended for a sharp and soft jaw to further illustrate your point - but I can only say what I feel.

Cool idea -- I agree with suggestions by Cindy and Carol that a tighter crop could be more effective. I would opt for an almost square crop coming close to the whiskers on the bottom, and taking some of the right and left as well. A final adjustment of highlight contrast to bring up the whites a bit would really make this sing!
