This Bull Elk is all-four-off- the- ground, giving him a floating appearance!

Cold Canadian winter day with overcast sun.

Nikon D600, Nikon 70-200 VR F2.8 lens, VR Normal, +1 Meter compensation, ISO 140, Taken at 1PM, F5.6, Hand Held

will never get my head around the ability in the US to get deer shots with the 70-200 range.. OMG. Wow... love the action. needs brightening as the snow looks grey but heck, I'll swop my position for your to see this any day.

What a pose, nice catch! Putting him against the snowy hill in the background was a better choice at least than having the green trees cutting across.
