One of the reasons there are quite a few Jaguar in the Pantanal region of Brazil is that there are so many caiman which are it's favorite food.  This is the smaller and more common of the 2 caiman species, the other being the larger Black Caiman.  I was attracted to the similar but opposite poses of these two.  I cropped it to a pano to remove some out of focus items on the bottom and some banding in the water on the top.

Nice portrait of this prehistoric creature shwing the beautiful détails of the skin ! Must be special to have the opportunity to observe them. Good job on the low angle too.

Hello Nate.... Sharp and excellent detail......showing its large mouth with many sharp teeth. I like the low view capture her. Was thinking the very light reflective section that follows on its upper jaw maybe if toned down some would be less distracting?

Thanks for sharing
