Taken of a male leopard in the late afternoon near Kruger Park in South Africa.  Conditions were sunny with backlighting on the grass and fur.

Beautiful subject, colour tones and light in this lovely image Liz, my only nit is the lack of space at the bottom for his feet. A touch more space there, if you have it, would be much better and seeing that you used a zoom lens (as I do for wildlife) I would think you have some with more space around. Such a handsome cat and always good to see them on the ground rather than up a tree all the time!

Very nice image, what a gorgeous specimen and I like that intent stare. Lovely warm tones also.

I made the vertical crop to eliminate the trunk but couldn't do the branches.  Thanks for the kind comment.  It was a beautiful young male leopard and fortunately tolerant of us humans admiring him.
