Hello all, I've been admiring your photos for quite a while now and decided it was time for me to post one of my own. Taken a few weeks back not far from home here in Connecticut. Comments and critiques much appreciated.

Welcome Anders!

I like your perspective here and the lovely detail of that inquisitive stare, while the soft surroundings suggest an air of mystery so appropriate for a fox. I would prefer a touch more room at the bottom for the feet, especially as the fox is walking towards us. A very nice first post and we look forward to seeing more!

Anders, I'm OK with the feet in the "fog." With the feet obscured, it brings the attention right to head and eyes.

Welcome Anders super low angle and eye contact, I was thinking a little more room at the bottom as well.

Thanks everyone. Unfortunately there isn't any room left on the bottom but I might be able to use the foreground from another in the series. At the time I was more concerned about fitting it in the frame and nailing the focus as I was trembling with excitement.

I like the side lighting and blurred background. The low angle is very nice , too. Good one! Wish I had one like it - Steve

Centered comp works well with this one. I like the low angle and soft surroundings.
