The land of the Royal Bengal Tiger.... Sunderbans Tiger Reserve...... this mangrove stretching across India and Bangladesh is home to one of the largest tiger population. This is a very harsh land where humans are still unable to penetrate the swamps and saline creeks and  even when they do, it is an extremely perilous journey... mainly to collect honey and fishing where every year many have to pay the ultimate price with their lives. Here every animal including this magnificent Chital Stag, has to be on high alert always because evading an attack is not easy in the slimy mud and the water has a sizable population of saltwater crocodiles.

Beautiful light and pose -- I believe it could benefit from a touch more sharpening.

The Chital are such an attractive deer with their spotted coats Pralay, it must be a very precarious existence for both humans and prey species in this area! He is a handsome stag in a lovely pose with nice head turn - I just wish for more room at the bottom.
