Nikon D810, 1.4 TC, 300mm f/2.8 lens, 1/1250 sec at f/5.6, ISO 400.
Changed the crop from a posted photo a few days ago.  This photo better emphasizes the bee into the shot.

The close up definitely works better for me Gene, I really like the juxtaposition of the bee and the snake, especially as they appear to be comfortable with each other and the reflection adds another element that works well with the image overall. A quite unique shot that has lots of appeal!

I too like this crop better. Nice use of DOF to select just the head of the snake and the bee.

Very nice, I particularly like the reflection and the inclusion of the bee really gives some perspective on the size of the snake.
