Early sunrise and we found the Olasati pride bringing their cubs down to the lake edge to wash down a Gnu they had killed the previous night.

B&W & slight warming tint conversion in PS CC. The cropped pride was intentional, allowing the cub more looking space, this is (almost) F/F with the 500/4 here.
Viewed best when clicked on the image to bring out the black BG.

Lake Ndutu- North Tanzania.

C & C most welcome

Thanks Steven

No fog, just a continuation of the water with some slight shore BG removed

Very effective, the cub is so isolated with the negative space all around and the others all bunched up. Tells a great story of the adventurous youngster. I like the conversion to mono which simplifies the image adding to the story and feel. I really like this image.

Nicely done Marc, a fine illustration of this lovely pride. Clicking on the image to bring in the dark surround shows it at its best!

Marc, this is beautiful. I really like your choice in converting it to mono.
